Q: When should I request a propane delivery?
A: As a general rule, we advise our customers to reach out to us when their propane tank gauge reaches around 25%. This allows time for our team to refill your tank without the risk of a run-out. Even better, we encourage you to try our stress-free automatic delivery service. We’ll install a propane tank monitor and deliver your fuel exactly when you need it.
Q: How should I prepare for a propane delivery?
A: There are some simple steps you can take to help your home propane delivery go as smoothly as possible. Firstly, please ensure your home number is visible to our driver by clearing any ice, snow and branches that may block it. Shovel any snow on your driveway and put salt or sand down so we can safely park. Please also clear a pathway to your propane tank. We very much appreciate your help!
Q: Why isn’t my tank gauge at 100% after my propane delivery?
A: We only fill aboveground propane tanks to about 80%. This is a safety precaution all propane companies take to allow room for the fuel to expand because of temperature fluctuations. Propane expands about 17 times more than water does when exposed to the same increase in temperature.

Before the Europeans arrived, the area that is now Doylestown was home to the Lenape tribe.
Doylestown, the county seat of Pennsylvania’s picturesque Bucks County, was settled by William Doyle in 1745 when he established a tavern bearing his name. A community soon grew up in this well-traveled location. A post office arrived in 1802, and the first church was built in 1815. After two failed attempts to make Doylestown a borough, it was officially incorporated by the Pennsylvania Legislature in 1838.
In the 19th century, Doylestown gained access to rail and telegraph lines. It never became an industrial hub but remained a vibrant business and residential center.
In the early 20th century, the archeologist and collector Henry Chapman Mercer built a large structure to store and display his extensive cache of American tools. He also built an ornate home nearby. Today, you can still visit this home, Fonthill Castle, and the Mercer Museum, which houses over 40,000 objects!
After World War II, Doylestown’s population and housing stock exploded. Thousands of new buildings went up, but the borough’s residents were careful to ensure its many historic structures were preserved.
